Professor Tom Wong is a highly esteemed consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist practising at Cleveland Clinic London Hospital with a distinguished career dedicated to the treatment and research of heart rhythm disorders.
He graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a medical degree and later completed a prestigious fellowship in electrophysiology and pacing at St Mary’s Hospital, London, in 2005.
In 2006, Professor Wong joined the Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals as a consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist. Since 2014, he has led their arrhythmia clinical services and research programmes, pioneering innovative approaches to managing heart rhythm abnormalities and enhancing patient care.
Professor Wong’s expertise lies in diagnosing and treating complex heart rhythm disorders in advanced disease states and challenging cardiac anatomies. He has a particular focus on arrhythmias originating from both the atria and ventricles in patients with congenital, inherited, or acquired heart disease.
