Anil Bhan

Dr. Anil Bhan is a distinguished cardiovascular surgeon with over 37 years of experience. He currently serves as the Chairman of Cardiac Surgery at Medanta - The Medicity in Gurugram, India. Dr. Bhan has performed more than 15,000 cardiac and vascular surgeries, including heart transplants, aortic aneurysm surgeries, pediatric cardiac surgeries, valve repairs, and peripheral vascular surgeries. He possesses the largest experience in aortic surgery in India and has designed and developed over 50 surgical instruments in the field of cardiac surgery.

Dr. Bhan has contributed extensively to cardiovascular research, with publications in renowned journals such as the Annals of Thoracic Surgery and the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. His research includes pioneering work on angiographic follow-ups of off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) surgeries and innovative surgical techniques for complex cardiac conditions
