Anoop Misra

Dr. Anoop Misra is a distinguished endocrinologist with over 39 years of experience. He currently serves as the Chairman of Fortis C-DOC Hospital for Diabetes and Allied Sciences in New Delhi. He is also the Director of the National Diabetes Obesity and Cholesterol Foundation (NDOC) and the President of the Diabetes Foundation (India). Previously, he was a Professor of Medicine at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi

Dr. Misra has made significant contributions to the field of diabetes and metabolic diseases, with over 350 published research papers. His research has been recognized globally, ranking him among the top 2% of scientists in diabetes from India. He has been involved in developing dietary and exercise guidelines tailored for the Indian population and has conducted extensive research on abdominal obesity and metabolic syndrome in Indians.
