Pramod Garg

Dr. Pramod Kumar Garg is a distinguished gastroenterologist with over 25 years of experience. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Translational Health Science & Technology Institute (THSTI) in Faridabad, India. Prior to this role, he was a Professor and the Head of the Department of Gastroenterology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. His primary clinical and research interests are in pancreatic diseases, and he has made significant contributions to the understanding and management of these conditions

Dr. Garg has an extensive research portfolio, with over 225 original articles published in prestigious international journals such as JAMA, The Lancet Infectious Diseases, and Gastroenterology. His work has been widely cited, with an h-index of 60 and over 20,000 citations. He has been involved in developing new therapies for patients with pancreatitis and has contributed significantly to COVID-19 research, including studies on therapeutics and vaccine effectiveness
