Rakesh Yadav

Dr. Rakesh Yadav is a renowned cardiologist with over 25 years of experience in interventional cardiology and electrophysiology. He currently serves as a Professor of Cardiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He specializes in heart failure, hypertension, atrial fibrillation, myocardial infarction, and pacemaker implantation.

He is also actively involved in medical research and education, having held significant positions such as Sub Dean (Academic) and Acting Dean at AIIMS. Dr. Yadav has been a key figure in advancing cardiac rhythm management and complex electrophysiology procedures in India.

Dr. Yadav has published over 100 research articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has contributed significantly to heart rhythm disorders, interventional cardiology, and hypertension management. His work includes clinical trials, case studies, and electrophysiology advancements.

He has delivered more than 250 guest lectures at prestigious conferences, focusing on cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure management, and interventional techniques.

Additionally, he serves as an editor and reviewer for leading medical journals, including the Indian Heart Journal and has reviewed research proposals for ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) and DST (Department of Science and Technology, India).

I am currently working as Professor, Department of Cardiology AIIMS, New Delhi. I was formally Sub Dean (Academic) and Acting Dean of AIIMS new Delhi. I have passed MBBS from Gorakhpur medical college with many distinctions. I passed the MD degree from Agra medical college with gold medal and DM in cardiology from AIIMS with gold medal.
