I am a practicing General, Laparoscopic Surgeon at Manipal Hospital Whitefield, Bangalore

My fields of interest & expertise are laparoscopic Gastrointestinal surgeries like Gall bladder & bile duct surgeries, Colorectal operations, all types of Hernia surgeries with some special interest in Breast & thyroid surgeries for cancers & benign diseases

I have been awarded a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) by The Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India in the year 2012

I am based in Bangalore for the last 9 years

Apart from my regular hospital outpatient services I do provide Outreach OPD services in West Bengal once a month organized by Manipal Hospital Whitefield

I really enjoy my work and want to work compassionately with utmost enthusiasm for my patients who are my real source of inspiration

Dr. Aritra Ghosh is among the top General & Laparoscopic Surgeons and Surgical Gastroenterologists with 16 years of experience.
He completed his MBBS in 2004 from NRS Medical College, Kolkata, and then did his DNB in 2009 from The Calcutta Medical Research Institute. 
After that, he completed the fellowship awarded to him by the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India.
Dr. Ghosh is renowned for GI surgeries pertaining to the colon & rectum, liver & bile, gastric bypass surgery, and upper GI surgeries.
He is also known for treating medical conditions such as laparoscopic hernia surgeries, abdominal wall reconstructions, and surgeries on the breast, thyroid, and salivary glands.
